2009 Woodstock 'The Stocks' Shiraz

Crimson-purple; produced from 31 rows of low-yielding vines planted circa 1900; the wine has that perfumed polish that comes from very old vines, the fruit flavours deep and dark, yet the tannins and extract fine. Astute winemaking has largely left the grapes to speak for themselves.
