2009 Woodstock 'The Stocks' Shiraz
Mike Frost - Courier Mail, July 2012
Class: Rated: 95
From century-old vines in McLaren Vale, Woodstock’s flagship red shows rich dark berry fruit on the nose and palate, with licorice and vanilla oak on the palate, finishing with fine, persistent tannins. If you must try it now, team it with roast beef, but it will be even better in five years or longer. $65. Ask at fine wine outlets.
