This Med-style red from Mclaren Vale, with a blend of Grenache and 15% Tempranillo, opens with rose and spicey aromas, subtle aniseed, cola and raspberry notes. The flavours are hearty, the texture smooth, and the tannins fine. (Screwcap; 14.5% alcohol.)
