2008 Woodstock Shiraz Cabernet

The Woodstock wines are of course (nowadays) made by Ben Glaetzer and Scott Collett. Strangely enough, whenever I hear the name ‘Scott Collett’ I think of the name Rockford. One day, someone should create a massive “Australian wine family tree”. Nice drink. Good, hearty, winter fare.
Blackberries and coffee beans, bright blackcurrant and raspberry and some savoury elements too. Grainy tannin. Fresh flavour. Easy to like.
